Come join us for our 3rd annual Palm Beach IT User Group Christmas party at Roxy’s on Clematis! Our typical meeting (as if we ever had one) will be postponed for a more relaxing get together of IT professionals to unwind, distress, and simply have some fun as we end another eventful year.

The festivities will start around 6:30 pm and we have our area reserved until 9:30 pm. After that, we can either stay at Roxy’s, or we can spread the cheer at another establishment. Roxy’s is located at 309 N Clematis Street, West Palm Beach, FL 33401. Their number is 561-296-7699. There’s free street side parking after 7:00 pm, or there are several parking garages in the surrounding area. Roxy’s has a dart board area, a billiard area, and if they still have it, they will open up a ping pong table for us.

This year, we will not be having a White Elephant or Secret Santa. Instead, it’s going to be called “Grab my Package” (no not like Michael Jackson, I mean like a present), in where if you care to participate, please purchase a gift with a value of no more than $20, wrap it but do not label it, and for the balance of the rules, well, you’ll just have to show up!

We’ll also be having a 50/50 raffle where the other half of the money will go towards the Roxy’s employee who is burdened with working with us throughout the evening. You are not obligated to participate in any of these activities, but it is necessary to register on the right so that we have enough space allocated for our group.

Like previous years, there will be appetizers to enjoy, however if you want to order dinner this will be at your discretion. Alcoholic beverages are at your expense too.

The first year was small but quaint, last year it doubled in size (about 20+ people), and hopefully this year we can take over the entire place. If you’d like, bring your significant other. Hope to see you there!
